Big Folks

Throughout my career, I photographed numerous campaigns for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. One advertising agency that specialized in this field approached me to create a series of speculative images for a pitch to a potential client. The company had developed a treatment belonging to a class of drugs now widely known as GLP-1 medications.
Although the photographs were originally intended for an advertising campaign, I found the simplicity and authenticity of the original portraits far more compelling than the finished advertisements. So I held on to them. Sometimes, the strongest image is the one that doesn’t need anything added to it.
