Aerialist

Got to shoot some great pick-up shots for the 4th Street Video today. Naomi Hummel worked extra hard for me on this shoot.  Aerialists do dangerous work. So the crew and I spent 4 hours putting up special rigging. Pipes, bolted to other pipes, tied into the ceiling, braced by high rollers, tied to sandbags, counter balanced by wood framing, etc……  She came in, took one look and said, “tear it down”. It was too complicated and looked more dangerous than simply looping the cloth over the rafters.  Ok, that’s what we did. I am not going to argue with someone who is putting her life on the line for a cool photograph.  And that’s what we got.
