Yank and Pull

So yesterday I had the feeding tube removed.

The doctor told me that with this type of tube, all he had to do was yank it out, as he went through the hand motions. He asked, “are you ready?”

I said “not after you just showed me that.”

Then he placed one hand firmly on my stomach, the other hand grabbed the tube, and he yanked as hard and as fast as he could. It made a big POPPING sound, and I yelled out a nasty word!!!!

Then it was over.

I’ve bled a pretty good  amount yesterday, but today I’m doing OK

Me, what’s on the inside.  The hole is less than a quarter inch.  The foam stopper on the inside is about an inch. Hence the load popping sound when it gets yanked out.
